To be or not to be ... VEGAN?!

HAS BEEN THE MAIN QUESTION FOR ME....

I live under a Jamaican house hold and seriously there are always amazing dishes around the table. In fact , my family has leaned over to eating more healthy and has stepped away from meats such as pork,beef, chicken, and etc.

Living in LA has opened my eyes to SO much when it comes eating healthier. I never even knew there was a such thing as meatless meat. MEATLESS MEAT! I always wondered how, but learned to understand that being vegan means that everything is plant based. Being younger in high school I was always fareful of becoming vegan because I knew I would miss places like Chic Fil A, eating jerk chicken, and being able to honestly just eat whatever the heck I wanted to eat.

Through high school, I started to get into being a vegetarian who ate no meat , but seafood. I know, I know I was a poser ,but in different terms I was basically a pescatarian. It was very simple and not too hard. I started to not like meat IF I did have it every here and there. My diet started to contain mainly fruits, veggies, and on an occasion salmon and shrimp.

Anyways, I am now a college student and want better things for my body, my skin, and just myself overall. I knew I wanted to switch over to a plant based diet when I was on my way to the DMV this summer. My family and I were driving and no joke a truck full of chickens drover right past us. I WAS EXTREMELY DISGUSTED. From then I changed the way I ate. I started juicing more, making fruit bowls a lot, and would search on pintrest (the go to for literally everything) for easy affordable vegan recipes. I am really into this vegan "lifestyle" now and would love to see results of my body overall... So if you're a vegan or if you're atleast considering to be one... DON'T GIVE UP! We can honestly go through this together ...Go ahead and send me some recipes (kinda running out on ideas), ideas, word of encouragement , and even struggles!
